Spring Gala: Saturday, June 2, 2018. Event start times are at noon and 3 PM.

Our Spring Gala performance includes excerpts from “Aladdin and the Wonderful Lamp”. Originally choreographed in 2006, our audiences will enjoy scenes from this high-spirited ballet by Dale Brannon. Aladdin, a poor beggar, is captivated by Princess Jasmine. Through his adventures with a Magician and a Magic Lamp, Aladdin becomes a wealthy man and wins Jasmine’s love. But his luck turns when the jealous magician discovers Aladdin’s good fortune. Our ballet concludes with a colorful and lively gypsy dance scene. Our program will also include a contemporary piece by former YPBT student, Shannan DeGroot, and a musical theater collection by YPBT instructor and choreographer Danielle Smith. These and other classical variations will be represented by all our company members who are looking forward to entertaining audiences in our final season program.
